Mackenzie Reed, RN
President
Mackenzie Reed, RN
Mackenzie Reed is a registered nurse and OCD advocate who, in 2019, experienced an onset of OCD symptoms that left her isolated to her bedroom for two years. During this time, accessing her home solely through her bedroom window and unable to access the remainder of her home.
Today, following her own diagnosis and treatment, Mackenzie works to advocate for OCD as an advocate of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF), and previously, as board member for OCD Pennsylvania. Additionally, Mackenzie is passionate about the intersection of OCD and compulsive hoarding as an externalized method to cope.
No matter how severe your symptoms, Mackenzie hopes that OCD Delaware will serve to portray an ongoing message of hope. The message that you can walk alongside debilitating symptoms, and come out of that experience stronger, more knowledgeable, and far more equipped because of it.
