Impact
Award
The OCD Delaware Impact Award recognizes an individual whose dedication, leadership, advocacy, or service has made significant contributions to advancing awareness and support for those affected by obsessive-compulsive disorder in Delaware.
Established within our founding year of 2025, this award honors adults with lived experience, dedicated supporters, and clinicians whose work demonstrates meaningful impact in the Delaware OCD Community.
OCD can be isolating and limiting, but it does not have to be walked alone. The OCD Delaware Impact Award serves to recognize those whose actions have made that walk a little less lonely, or who have shown resiliency within their own walk with OCD.
Nominations
Our awards recognize those who have demonstrated exceptional courage, advocacy, leadership, service, or support within the OCD community and beyond.

She received specialized training in cognitive-behavioral treatment and has been working with children, adolescents, and adults with OCD, OCD-spectrum disorders, and other anxiety disorders since 1995.

In 2025, Dr. Rupertus served as the first recipient of the OCD Delaware Impact Award, celebrating 30 years of service in support of those affected by obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders in the state. With 2025 serving as our first year as an organization, this award could not have felt more fitting or deserved.
Kathy serves as an example for what it means to go above and beyond in ensuring that those impacted by OCD in Delaware feel seen, supported, and understood. Her work has paved the way for many who share one common goal: reducing suffering, increasing quality of life, and instilling hope for all impacted by OCD and related disorders.
