OCD Delaware
Awards

At OCD Delaware, we believe that every act of courage, advocacy, and compassion helps strengthen our community. Our annual awards recognize individuals whose actions have made a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by obsessive-compulsive disorder and related conditions across Delaware. Whether through personal resilience, support of others, professional dedication, or community leadership, these honorees embody the values of hope, understanding, and connection that drive our mission. We invite you to learn more about our awards below and nominate someone whose impact deserves recognition.

Inspiring Youth
Award

The OCD Delaware Inspiring Youth Award serves to honor youth in the state who have displayed strength and perseverance amidst their own experiences or in support of others living with or directly impacted by the disorder.

Presented annually at the Delaware One Million Steps for OCD Walk, this recognition highlights the positive influence that Delaware youth can have and their ability to shape environments that welcome compassion, understanding, and support for all who are impacted by OCD and related disorders.

Impact
Award

The OCD Delaware Impact Award recognizes an individual whose dedication, leadership, advocacy, or service has made significant contributions to advancing awareness and support for those affected by obsessive-compulsive disorder in Delaware.

Established within our founding year of 2025, this award honors adults with lived experience, dedicated supporters, and clinicians whose work demonstrates meaningful impact in the Delaware OCD Community.

OCD can be isolating and limiting, but it does not have to be walked alone. The OCD Delaware Impact Award serves to recognize those whose actions have made that walk a little less lonely, or who have shown resiliency within their own walk with OCD.
