OCD Delaware helps people struggling with OCD. We spoke with the president to learn more.

“Mackenzie Reed was 21 years old when obsessive compulsive disorder took over her life near the end of 2019. 

The registered nurse went from graduating nursing school during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic to being unable to walk anywhere in her house aside from her bedroom. The issue lasted two years before she sought intensive treatment.  

A few years later, 28-year-old Reed lives near Lewes and is now the president of OCD Delaware, a new nonprofit organization focusing on raising awareness about OCD and related disorders and providing support in the First State.
